On November 16th, the first pure electric container demonstration ship "Huahang Xinneng 1" in Hanjiang made its maiden voyage in Wuhan, Hubei, marking the beginning of the electrification era of Hanjiang shipping.

As the electric container demonstration ship of the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, "Huahang Xinneng 1" is designed according to the characteristics of the Xiantao to Yangluo route, and can also adapt to short barge transportation on the Yangtze River route. The ship is equipped with dual propulsion motors powered by batteries, with a captain of 80 meters and a designed speed of 18 kilometers per hour. It can load 20 feet and 40 feet of standard containers and has a range of 175 kilometers.
